Mortgage Broker or Bank?

If buying a property is in your future, I suggest contacting both a mortgage broker and your financial institution to see which one works best for you
A mortgage broker works with multiple lenders, while a bank can only represent what their institution offers
A mortgage broker is paid by the lender (no cost to you) and they usually guarantee their rates for 90 days
Whichever you choose, having your mortgage approval in place puts you in the driver's seat when the perfect property comes along
